Privacy Policy
It is almost impossible in today's digital world not to gather data about the people we deal with every day. We can't do our job without asking our clients and suppliers for their contact information and details of the work we are asked to undertake.
Our policy is to only gather the essential information we need to carry out each job and programme of work. We will never share data with anyone who is not entitled to have that information.
When we are first introduced to a client, whether by personal introduction or through a website or direct enquiry, we will obtain name and contact information, the anticipated date(s) and location(s) for the delivery of our service, and relevant information our client wishes us to know in order to deliver our service.
We are required to keep accounting records for tax purposes for a period of seven years, which includes invoices and receipts for every job undertaken. It is our policy not to store copies of media files (photographs, digital negatives, videos, audio or other files) on behalf of clients for longer than 12 months after the date of the shoot, unless by specific client request under a written contract.
It is our policy to retain client contact data for a period of 7 years from the date of our last supply of services to that client. This in case you want to contact us and it would be good if we can remember who you are.
If you have any questions about our privacy policy, please contact Martin Watt Photography using our contact form.
